Bought some beef biltong today. Low and behold I got some mould with it. Yum.

Ps I turned the meat around in its packaging to take 1 photo.

Did you do the whole Twitter thing? Make it go viral:)

Biltong doesn't last. Found this out when exporting some to the UK.

Don't people just take things back to the store anymore? Why does everything have to be hauled out onto social media?

Take it back to the store and nothing is done about it.

Take it to social media, cause a schit storm, and suddenly they're scurrying to protect their brand image...

If you took that back they'd swap it.

Until it happens to you again, then you have to take it back for another swap. Until it happens to you again, then you have to take it back for another swap. Until it happens to you again, then you have to take it back for another swap. <repeat>

Nah that gets boring pretty quickly...

I'd have stopped buying biltong at Woolworths after the second time but hey if you enjoy punishment then keep returning.
Woolworths biltong is *** anyway.

I bought woolies cheese platter a week ago. One of the cheeses had gone bad. We ate all the other cheeses and took bad the bad one. I got a full refund without any questions asked but I would still have preferred that all the products is good.

That's one thing I've never bought from Woolworths before. Maybe because there is a much better biltong shop just outside :)

True. Often the store doesn't report it up the line.
