Yeah, Checkers biltong is much worse.

Here in Hermanus there's a shop by their entrance called Vrystaat Biltong. They're excellent.

Take it to social media, cause a schit storm, and suddenly they're scurrying to protect their brand image...

Exactly what I want. I don't want compensation. I want people to know. If you just take it back then they sweep it under the carpet.

Write them an email with the barcode, batch number and a picture. From my experience, they have taken prompt action by removing the whole batch from their shelves and also gave me a gift card, which was nice

Would you not want them to up there game instead? Taking it back to the store means that only them at the shop will know and the same thing can happen again.
Making a scene on social media would definitely get their attention and take the matter seriously... obvi

Good plan. Well I haven't received any feedback from woolworths. Will give it sometime.
