Woot tonight new tree

Hey
So I'm relatively new to Wow.
Does this mean we have to resppec in a new tree by going to our class trainer and pay for it or the tree starts out fresh to spec in?
 
Nope all our trees are being reset, so we will have 51 points to spend in our trees tonight/tomorrow.

Normally you get a free respec..ie all your talent points get reset.

Isn't the new tree only in effect when Litch King launches? I'm confused too. Does this mean we can start leveling to 80? I'm only on 68 :( ah ****
 
nope tree available tonight will post a screenie once the servers are online and i got my haircut lol

got 3 70s lol loads of trees to do :) but my rogue is my boy

I loaded an entire bank char with herbs :D

However I'll be using some of it myself to powerlevel Inscription.

Not quite

The servers are rolling over the new content tonight ...

what that means is everything that you'll find in outlands / azeroth when WotLK comes out will already be there tomorrow. This is for folks who do not buy the expansion. Interestingly ... if you do not have the expansion tied to your account, you cannot level past lvl 70.

So tomorrow we'll see new haircuts, inscription, new trees, nerfed abilities ... and stormwind harbour!

yip when you enter your cd key into your account you will get the 70+ level. There will proberly be a small patch on the release date enabling the zepplins,etc to get to northernend

Well ... the zepplins / stormwind harbour / extra boat at menethil harbour etc. are all being released tomorrow...

This will enable Wotlk and non-wotlk players to see the same layout in terms of NPC's / areas / boats / whatnot when they are in azeroth / outlands / etc.

the same way you can see the boat to the Exodar from Auberdine in darkshore, the same way you'll be able to see things going to northrend... and as with that boat, if you dont have the expansion - it will drop you back off at the harbour you came from when you try to access it.

Same with the dark portal in blasted lands ... anyone can see it - but not everyone can access it.


So basically tomorrow it will be as if Wotlk has been released ... with all the changes ... except you just can't go there yet. Anyone picking up inscription tonight will only be able to level it to 375 as well.


... oh and as for the sponsoring of my haircut ... i DESPERATELY need it. When I rolled my nelf rogue I didn't even know you could customize your character. So I selected the 1st ugly looking Nelf that appeared on my screen with his green hair and Goku hairdo... not to mention the permanently P/O'd expression on his face.

ROFL same as me when I rolled my rogue, I rolled a rogue just to mess around hence the name p o e s but fell in love with my rogue
