thanks in advance for any assistance at all :) link to actual font would be AMAZING! :D let me know.

regards,
Brad.

the pic you show reflects says Sencur not Secura?

still, not many references to it all I could really find on the web is this and the font looks different as well

but maybe you could try contacting them and ask where they got it.

I've searched through some old CorelDRAW discs where I have about 1000 fonts and it's not there either, so looks like it's a pretty rare font

In 2005 there was another person looking for the Sencur font but beyond that google gives me absolutely nothing.

Sure they should be able to tell her where to get the font from? I would ask them for a source of the font.

I see the school system has not changed much in the last 34 years as that is the exact same writing style they taught us in primary school :D

I don't think that is the right font. I can try organise it for you. My sister has the font, but she is away at the moment.

The font she uses is called Grade 1 font. I think that might be the right one. If she is studying Foundation Phase.

Grade 1 font looks different, see here

Agreed, but Grade 1 font is the font that the teachers studying foundation phase, and teachers teaching foundation phase use, all of them.

My wife also used Grade 1 font at varsity and her school. The other one she used at on stage was called Primer.

KZN schools use a different font to the rest of the country, this was confirmed by a university lecturer in this specific field. The font you guys are referring to is correct for the rest of SA but not KZN.

Why do they teach us to write like idiots? No one should carry that handwriting into adulthood.

@goswald
Do you know if your sister might still have the grade 1 font so many years after this post? I am so desperate to get hold of it and the edu-aid website details seem to be obsolete as no one answers any of their contacts. It would be such a huge help.
Thanks.

Thanks. Unfortunately the Cami link doesn’t give the font download. The other problem is that I need the different versions too. Dotted, lined etc. that’s why I am specifically looking at the grade 1 font. It’s unbelievably difficult to font print fonts with the correct y, t, e, J and in the various versions.
Any of these: https://www.free-fonts.com/cami-primary ?
