Work Line Speed...

I just found out that we have a 128k line here at work.

Now, we have close on 30 people using this line.

OMG! (I can't really believe, this 'line speed' still exists!)

And head office wonders why it's always slow - and they have a 1mb line!

ISDN speed for 30 people

= 4,3 kbps for each user by simultaneous using!

Yeah, get a 9600 baud modem, it is faster!

File a formal request to management that the lines be upgraded to Smoke-Signal-Tech or ADSL....whichever damagement favours.

lol, we have multi 4mbs lines at my work, but they have implemented the draconian websense system....

...but i see it cant scan raw packets/requests

I didn't realize Smoke-Signal-Tech is a euphemism for Sentech. Was meant as a sarcastic (North American) indian smoke signals comment.
