Yup. Farmers have been treating their workers like **** for decades. I know, I grew up in a farming community. One of my high school friends were arrested for pulling a guy behind his bakkie not long after he finished school. Don't know what ever happened to that, probably got away with it.

as for those trying to use this as justification for completely unrelated incidents.. as already pointed out, it's no different from someone using previous farm murders of farmers to justify this murder, and it would make about as little sense.. but nobody was trying to defend this murder with justifications, there are many who are here to defend a much longer list of murders though..
