Essentially, he is in the view that essential services must be on a leash. I hope that he knows that being the president is essential too. I posted his whole speech in the NEHAWU thread.

All his speech ends up doing is being, indecisive, NEHAWU already told him to go phala phala. As I said, what happens now?

There is still a good chance that the government will compromise which will practically result in the strike being essential to achieving their demands. Either the government settles or it continues throughout next week, and more unions will rally throughout the coming week running up to what is expected to be an explosive 20th. Absolute is all perspective.
