Good article and mostly right on the money. I'd only add that the wholesale provision of telecoms services need to corrected and properly in place before 2010 as I seriously doubt that foreign visitors will accept our tariffs (roaming / interconnect / etc.). Not to mention that Telkom's current stranglehold on backbone provision to cellular operators and ISP's need to be of a world-class nature to support the added capacity constraints. The clock is ticking ...

Yeah. but first they will have to register their details (fica?) somewhere.O and they have to get something larger than a 3gig cap too.
