World's tallest skyscraper nearing completion

Broadband & IT News? I'm very new here, but I don't understand the value of the link? I suppose there will be lots of IT hardware involved? I am not trying to be sarcastic or anything else that points to a negative attitude. I've learned a lot on these forums and are just trying to figure out the post?
 
Perhaps it helps to know 'rpm' is the 'big boss', founder, owner etc etc. At first, I too found irrelevant (not IT related posts) confusing. On the other hand, I understand rpm. I will do the same. The more members his forum has the more money will come in from advertising. I see myBB forum as a IT related and not exclusive IT anymore. Basically everything goes. From politics to sport to local and world news, personal issues etc etc. I am waiting for the dating section. How about 'a boer soek n vrou' :D Jockes aside - As long as you post in the right section and respect others, (almost) everything can be discussed/debated on this forum.
 
But tall buildings are just not relevant to this forum
 
I wouldn't like to be on the top floor should a fire break out... :eek:

But, think a bit - all the logistics and planning involved to build such a high tower...

The blogs section feeds directly into the forum through an RSS feed. In the blogs section the authors can write about anything they find interesting, and it may therefore happen that something appears here that is not strictly IT related. Really nothing untoward, just how the system was set up.

I see... hmm... Sorry boss.:D I also read the post containing the blog info and do understand the reasoning better. Thank you for that. Like I said, I'm still learning, but I think the fact that some view's were mentioned, and I saw only genuine opinions without any unnecessary bad comments, is heartening. (for me at least):)

Telkom build the biggest soccerball,on a tower,high up in the sky...maybe rpm didn't knw this.
