I have 1gig cap with Telkom but as the junkie I am I have finished it but there is still some left in the pool for my area.Will i be able to use the internet for the whole month even though I have exceeded my cap.

usually you can go up to 1.5x your International cap, then you will be limited to local only sites (if your account actually has local cap, which I reckon it will have).

Most people get around 50% more, but it just carries on until it stops. If you can't see any international sites, but you can see telkom.co.za, then your're capped and should head to the nearest ATM to buy another Gig. Did you know about the vouchers you can buy for AXXESS that last a year once loaded? You can use them straight on a Telkom line. This means if you get capped you don't have to worry about having to use up the next Gig within the rest of the month.
what are they talking about percentage used 66.78% are they talking about my cap.I was told that it was the total percentage used for my area and the main question is that will I get capped anytime soon or when I finish the Percentage and b4 I 4get I have a 1 gig Telkom account.

Or if you are with Telkom ISP, you can buy online from them as well... The advantage of buying the AXXESS voucher is that it is valid for a year. But at the rate you DL, you should upgrade to a better package!! 1GB - she is not enough!

It is your cap!, 66.78 is how much you have used already, since Telkom allows you to average 1.5gigs with a 1 gig account, this means once you reach 1.5gigs it equals out to 100% used..
thanx you'll were a BIG help because my father wanted 2 use the internet n I thought it myt die on him leaving me with alot of explaining 2 do.Anyway I got 1 last question will I be able 2 last until about the 27th with no dwnloads n is there any chance that it could stop before the 1,5gigz if I put my router off.

Router off = more chance of being capped as your account will have to re-authenticate and thus you run more of a chance of being denied access due to your usage.
You used too much bandwidth, tell your folks. You will not last till the 27th on 500mb and thats not even for certain that Telkom will give you that 500mb, other people could have been just as excessive and thus the bandwidth pool is reduced.
