Sheesh. Love the beer bottles standing around on the patio, and while I don't appreciate the over-photoshopped pics you can also just pick a better angle if you take photos:

Honestly, when I sold my first place (townhouse, fairly newly developed as we were the first owners, had a good garden and no obvious issues) I actually had a look at some of the horrible pictures the estate agents took with a small "mik-en-druk". I actually took the time to take really good pictures (not edited, just a good camera, well lit with a bounce-flash etc.) and send it to the agent.

The agent that ended up selling the place took the worst pics and ignored mine - but he knew the market and the correct price and sold it within a day.

So we actually switched agents after a few months (for a few reasons) but when they took new photo's of our house I wanted to ask them to rather use the photo's that the previous agent had taken as they looked much better and were actually more realistic.:laugh:

But anyway the fake pictures got feet in the door and the house sold in time so I suppose it worked. People were actually tricked by the fact that it looked like a different house, overnight we got a flurry of hits even though the old listing was still on the site (price was not massively different)

Leadhome seems pretty scammy to me to be honest. Saw a bunch of advertisements for them in CT a few years ago but nothing anymore. I wonder if that's telling?

Reminds me of this one house listing we saw, was 80's style with lots of carpet then in the lounge a big stain like someone died there. Not a single item of furniture either.

best was they list it has having a basement but no pictures of it... I wanted to go check it out just to see how bad it was.
