Wotlk FPS

8600GT 512mb / 45-71 graphics set to medium to low. the new engine just chews memory.

I have a 8800GTS and I use Titanpanel's performance,I pretty much get 50-60fps everywhere I go and with everything I do. I think 60fps is the max titan can register or it's just busted :P

All settings set to max running 1650x1080

This is what I am running at the moment and never get anything over 60FPS. Getting another 8800GTS to run in SLi courtesy of my fiance. Keen to see what happens.

With regards not going over 60FPS, that's to do with your vertical sync. Turn it off and you'll probably register more then that. Vaguely remember reading somewhere that it's not really necessary for LCD's anyway.

Otherwise running a 8600GTS and get between 30 to 70 FPS depending on the area. 1650 X 1080 settings medium to high. Find the shadow quality will be the one that kills your FPS the most.

Yea my brother used to run WoW on full detail everything(8800Gts),after Wotlk he's not so Gung-Ho with his Graphics settings anymore that's for sure.

Running a 9600GT and getting 18-30fps, but think the reason is my CPU.

On the 3 machines in our household, the 8800 Ultra and 9800 GTX are running fine with pretty much max settings on all options.

Mine machine is tanking though, my old 7 series card was never great in Shat and hated places like Mech but the expansion has really made it choke it also suffers from overheating especially on the onboard memory, so I get screen tearing, freezing and FPS which drops to as low as 5 to 10 sometimes, and as I hate switching to ultra low settings am looking to upgrade atm.

20 odd FPS, but using onboard gfx (GMA3000?) as I just upgraded my machine. Settings are medium.

8600GT 1024mb ram
1680x1050
40-60fps
medium-high settings

new shadows are awesome, but tend to kill my card

8800GT 512MB OC @ 1680x1050
Everything on max except Shadows (turned down to about half) and Draw Distance (turned down to about 3/4). I get around 45 - 60 outdoors, and 70 - 110 indoors.

Rig

Intel E8200 (2.66ghz)
4gig DDR800 (Corsair)
Ati 4850 512mb
16x10 on Samsung 22" LCD
4xAA
All max (cept shadows on 1/2)

The game was running ok, between 25-60 in areas depending on the clutter and distance. But then I hit Grizzly Hills and it just nosedived into the 15-18 range in certain areas.

I then went and read up some, and it seems there are some serious problems with the latest WOTLK build that is affecting high end cards and especially SLi / Xfire setups.

To be honest, my rig shouldn't have a probem pulling the game at those settings, as games like Oblivion or whatever cruise along at great speeds.

I haven't even reached Dalaran yet, but guys on the WoW forums claim that your FPS can drop into the sub-10 range. It really is detracting from my game experience to such an extent that I hardly play at the moment.

Lets hope it gets fixed soon.

6600 gt *hides* I get around 20 fps in cities maybe 15 at worse then again I completely disabled shadowing.

anyways if you experience heavy frame tearing to a extend where it is unplayable
do the following command
/console SET extShadowQuality "0"
