Wotlk FPS

Stickfigure, what about the rest your hardware and OS?

That seems to be more normal FPS for that card, and the 4850 should not be too far behind.

E8500
2GB Ram
Asus P5Q Deluxe

My fps does jump around sometimes but generally it's between 80-100, sometimes a bit higher but sometimes a bit lower.

My gawd, I wonder if my game is actually CPU limited?! I have a E8200 at 2.66ghz, my mobo is too crappy to overclock even though it is an Asus board.

In Dragonblight my FPS dipps into the sub 15 range. I've stopped playing for the time being I just cannot stand it, even after updating my GFX card drivers to the Nov release last night it's still not better :<<<

dude

i am running a Toshiba laptop with a radeon HD3650, and in DB i get 65-85 fps...
Turn down shadows and viewing distance, those lag the most and are totally unnecessary.

Nickd, I think it has something to do with the resolution as well, I'm running it at 1680x1050 on 22" LCD.

Shadows @ 50% and max view distance. Drives me nuts.

max viewing distance rapes your card, i would turn it off.
Same goes for shadows i reckon.
I have everything else on pretty much maximum settings, and the fps is about the same when i plug into my 19" widescreen monitor.
