Would i be able to finish my cap?

Greetings.

I'm trying to get the parental units to get me ADSL. I'm looking at an account from Cybersmart.

Will probably get a 384Kbps line. I'd like to know if i'd be able to use up all my cap with the 384 line.

The package i'm thinking of getting is the 3GB shaped with 20GB local, growforlife and Night Rider. That = 38GB of data and counting.

Also, anyone know of good local sites where i'd be able to use this cap?

Per min 2.4MB

Per Hour 146MB

Per Day 3.5GB

Per Month 105.7GB

If you push it hard, you can do 100gigs or so on a 384 line in a month. That is non stop 24 hour downloading at 40KBps. So 800 is a definite no.
 
You know what i mean :p

It won't limit me with regards to finishing the cap.

One more thing, i'd be able to Download from Newshost with a cybersmart account now right?
 
Just read Cybersmarts faq, seems like it's not possible to use the cap extender to download from news servers.

I'll be able to get a local account elsewhere and use the Cybersmart account for international downloads right? Will i be able to do this with the router i'll receive from cybersmart?

Easily, I can do over 50GB a month on my 384K line
 
Ok, now i'm looking at getting just the 3GB + 384 LINE + night rider from Cybersmart and a 30GB local account from Webafrica. I'll be using the hardware i receive from Cybersmart to connect to the net

Question

Will this be possible? Or do i still have to buy my own router in order to be able to use the webafrica account?

I'm on 35gigs already...still 13 days to go...also on 384k...and not constant 40kBs...uncached stuff runs slower...so cud have been much more if alll were cached
