Huawei and Samsung are rumoured to be working on foldable smartphones. Would you purchase one of these devices if they become available?
 
Sure, I don't care about folding, that's just a gimmick, I do however care about flexibility even if only 5% it'll mean the screen wont crack or shatter as we have it now.
 
Jamie, I think you need to add an image to your OP as I'm sure most of us are thinking of flip-phones of days gone by. I, myself, had to go google for what you were talking about.

No, and only because they almost always ended up with a flex cable fault.

No, the technology isnt where it needs to be too as the screen actually gets damaged the more times you bend it, and seeing what manufacturers did with Oled, I expect them to release it way too early, and it will have problems.
 
Fsck yes... now THAT would be epic....

and they must be all funky coloured like that, or the inner child in me will be disappointed.
 
Hell yes - cracked screens from dropped phones would be a thing of the past.
 
I don't care if it bends, twist, farts or teleports.
If it's a cool phone that's a pleasure to use - I'll buy it.

Bit of a strange question to ask about something nobody has actually used yet.
 
If it makes a smart phone smaller and it works, why not.
