Would you consider this DigitalPlanet's fault?

I've ordered from Sybaritic before and yes their service is great. But the thing is the only reason I'm getting from DP is because I have these frigging eBucks!

I've only had good experiences with digital planet. Granted not everything was 100%, but they made up for it in service.

Everything I've ordered has come in less than 7 days. Once, I bought a present for a friends birthday - I called the call center and told them I need it within 5 days, I'll even collect and so they rushed the order and had it in 4 days (order to pickup).

My only "problem" with them ever - I ordered a graphics card...two days later they said they cannot deliver or get me an estimated time - so I ordered another graphics card and they delivered that within the 7 day deadline.

I find whenever there is a slight problem, I email [email protected] and cc [email protected] and it gets sorted out very quickly with alot of appologies.

Maybe it's luck of the draw.

But why should it even be necessary to report issues to them, in order for things to be sorted out? I also had to do that twice, causing me to avoid shopping from DP anymore.

OK an update...

I replied to them saying that if they can get me a different hard drive (Seagate 80GB SATA2) I would like them to send what they have. I got an email saying I would get a reply from one of their team members or whatever, and I never. So once again I emailed saying I would like a reply.

I got a phone call now from one of them saying they can't get a Seagate 80GB SATA2 but they can get a 160GB for a few hundred bucks more. I told him to go check the Rectron pricelist or any other wholesale because they DO have on their list. He phoned me back and said it was now possible to get the 80GB.

He told me he was going to cancel my order and put a new one in with the replacement hard drive. He asked if I paid and I said yes with eBucks. Apparently there is some problem with that and now I'm awaiting a phone call from one of their support who deals with eBucks to sort it out.
