Get yourself a little program called "Wowmatrix" you use it to install/update/uninstall all your addons for you. You can use it to search for the latest addons etc.

Alternatively a program called "Curse/d" does pretty much the same thing.


As for not being able to log into Dalaran on your main. I've found it only to be a problem if I'm in a raid. Especially if the raid is in Naxx. (Even with all addons purged)

Blizzard knows about this problem and are apparently trying to address it after 30 pages of complaints on their forums.

Most annoying thing with raids atm is we keep getting "Player not found" when trying to summon some members

Questhelper by default puts the direction arrow right on the player. Simply click and drag it to the top of the screen out of the way.

you type

"/qh hide" to toggle between it being shown or not. To disable an addon completely, you'll have to untick it in the list of addons.

Thank you guys alot, you have been such a big help. I just want to ask a last question, can I just copy the wowMatrix folder to a memory stick and then paste the folder on another PC and QH will still work on WOW?

No, you'll need to copy the QH folder for it to work. WOWmatrix only updates all the installed addons.

I *used* the following:
Recount - for damage meters and alot more! its a nice addon
Omni CC - For action bar CD's
Omen - Threat meter for raids
QuestHelper - When i was lvling
Ratingbuster is awesome for comparing gear
Gatherer - For remembering my mining nodes etc
ActionBarSaver - For saving your actionbars for when you respec, very nice

Well thing is i don't use any addons anymore, except when I'm raiding because of bandwidth concerns :S It sucks I'm not sure which (if any) addons are using bandwidth because I'm capped.

Yep ... i used to pwn the AH while i was leveling, buy & sell the whole time. Worked like a charm.

I had 5000g by the time I hit 70, ready to buy my epic flyer - only realizing i needed t o buy normal flying 1st

Last night I bought 100xtitanium ore for 800g. Roughly 50% of what they sell for individually... I damn well hope my titansteel gets bought as I'm below the poverty line yet again
