Been having huge issues with WoW suddenly over the past 3 or 4 days. My latency has been terrible and it's become very unplayable in raids. I've requested that Telkom check my line for faults and noise 3 times and all 3 times they've come back to me saying it's fine. I assumed it's an issue with Internet Solutions except that I don't see anyone else complaining on these forums.

I can only assume this is an issue with my ISP (Axxess DSL) and in that case I'd like to request which ISP would be the best to actually play WoW on without issues.

Are you using an unshaped account? EU or US?

I only have experience with OpenWeb pre-paid unshaped - get around 300ms average... I cannot raid on shaped accounts, just not worth the effort... Get about 700 - 1200ms on my shaped IS account.

my IS account i have been also having high ping i'm with imaginet it hovers on 500ms+ and its unshaped

The IS accounts are SEMI-Shaped, which means that there is no shaping on traffic at off-peak times. However it's not comparable to SAIX's unshaped offerings, I've noticed higher pings on the SEMI-Shaped even during off-peak hours.

It is the end of the month. Everybody has high lat around this time.

6 oct is start of month not end lol and the high pings are in evening not during day

it feels like i'm not even on semi shaped and like shaped all the time
