WoW and Cellc Fixed LTE

Hi Guys

since the start of the month iv been back into WoW and all of a sudden in the evenings my world latency goes crazy spiking anywhere from 300ms to over 600ms and even higher sometimes.

iv done all the basics on my end to try root out the issue iv taken everyone off the wifi during the time i have the problem iv added wow to the windows firewall reinstalled my nic card.

In the evening my from around 7pm on the nail my speed tests take a dive (see attached screens) web africa have been no help they told me to go and buy an external antenna.

would love some advise from cell c on this if they can check the tower in my area please dm me.

Most likely congestion, are you able to test other providers?

I think it's luck of the draw really just depends where you are located relative to your receiving tower and the tower load.

I bought an AH Cell C fixed LTE sim 20gb contract which is total crap where I am but after giving it to a relative they have permanent 3 bars on the B315 router and DL/UL of 20/10mbps which I guess is better than a kick in the face.

I've had similar experience with RAIN fixed LTE, except it's not too bad generally at my place but dodgy at best at the relative's

So YMMV...

Well web africa called me apparently cellc made a change to there network and now i fall on the edge of the signal map.....wtf is this iv had this service for more than a year and all of a sudden i am on the edge of the map i was told this will explain why my speed drops from 7pm because now i am low priority i am so peeved right now i dont even know what to do this is how they treat paying clients

Odly I had this exact problem on RAIN Fixed LTE, switched to Cell C Fixed LTE and the problem magically disappeared.

Been covered for an entire year now not covered anymore wtf

Accept the cancelation and get a Telkom prepaid Sim and see if signal.
If Vodacom signal should also be good, as Telkom should roam on them if no signal from latest June onwards.
Gaming on 3G is terrible, if no LTE move, accept the cancelation.

Look at Telkom smart broadband wireless for R355 for 10GB, they're currently running a special where all contracts are double data.

20gigs isn't enough for my household we use 100gigs plus every month
