Wow and Windows 7

I have win7 32-bit, runs smoothly only problem I have is when I have wow up I can't have any sound going, wow basically makes my sound go all wonky, as soon as I minimize it...sound is perfect...does the same for vent.

Doesn't seem to be any solution to it either but other than that no complaints :)

No idea how you have this problem, I for one don't, BUT I don't use sound drivers that came with Windows 7, I use those provided by my Sound Card manufacturer.

Pretty odd too, have you tried other drivers?

I did update my sound card drivers when I installed win7, the weird sound started like a few days after, I should also add that the general wow sound and music also go wonky, distorted, fuzzy etc.

I also have win7 32bit on my laptop as well, there the sound is perfect, nothing has happened there yet!

Really have no clue whats going on with the pc :(
 
Win 7 64bit here. Zero problems thus far.

Agreed with Skurm.
I'll also throw in a bet that it's a Creative card issue... have had alot of problems with an XFI & Windows 7.
 
windows 7 and wow = win
Only problem I had was that I had to do a fresh wow install as the xp wow install was stuffin my addons around
