WoW bug has bitten

More interesting for a few reasons
-- Something new and different
-- its not WoW
-- No monthly subs

The game itself:
-- Questing is much more fluid
-- Exploring actually means something (view points, skill challenges for extra skill points etc).
-- Travelling around the world is much easier
-- Random in-game events that happen all the time which are radical.
-- Graphics are pretty
-- Combat is nothing like Wows. There is no set rotation, you dont just stand and push buttons until the thing dies, you have to dodge and use the right skills at the right time.

And i've only reached lvl 20 in GW2 so i havn't touched the tip of what it has to offer.
Dont get me wrong, WoW is a great game with everything it offers, but there is nothing new for me to want to go back. The expansions just dont have any game changers.. except maybe pandas...

Guild Wars 2 BOOOOORRIIING

Guild Wars 1 was my first MMO and I loved it, I even played WOW, for a while but went back to GW1, what a great game, but GW2 just lost the plot and missed it , what was fun on GW1, were not in GW2. I cant put my finger on it but I just could not play it any more, and with no end game ...............

I had to force myself to play it and only because i felt obligated because i loved GW1

If it was not such a major grind to level 90 , i would go back to WOW, but because the game has been running for so long it is also difficult to get into Guilds for a spot in the raid team.

This is why I went to Rift, more or less the same as WOW, but its a new game everyone were noobs and had to figure it out.

Lots to do:

Rifts
Raid Rifts
Chronicles
Dungeons
Raids
Pvp
Adventures
Big Events all the time With Major bosses (google :Volan)

I haven't played WoW since 2011, and no real hardcore raiding since 2010. Getting married and not really having money for subs+ internet forced me to drop it. By the time I could come back to it, my guild had been retrofitted with new people. It was top of the server when I left, and still is today. But all the people that I had played with for 4 years all disappeared. If they were still around I probably would have let the bug bite me again.
As it stands now, I cannot get back into the game. I remember all the fun times and the laughs, and it all just seems like it will never get better than it was.

Ah Nostalgia. Now I let myself be bitten by the more minor bugs like Dota, LoL, SC2. Those are at least games that if you play for 1 hour at night, you still get somewhere.

My mage hit level 67 last week, and then while browsing Twitch I noticed that LoL has quite a big viewership, watched some league videos and now I'm hooked on LoL as well... I'm doomed.

Haha. Ye I like watching those LoL matches and especially the tournaments.

Yep, once you pop, you can't stop. WoW was (and probably still is) awesome (first time downing Ragnaros - omgmewmewkittenz DAT FEEL). But I played way to much (since US release until end Cata), and everything else kinda passed me by. Tempted to start again with MoP, but I just keep telling myself it's not worth it. Besides, the Mrs said she'd leave me this time for sure!

Got into LoL recently, which is wierd cause I never really liked strat-type games. The Mrs doesn't seem to mind so much, either. Once a gamer...

Oh, and I've been struggling to find someone with an EU client :P
