im so poor on wow, and really want my epic mount, i understand there is no abra cadabra involved to make 5k gold,,, but some help please in making gold

i got "warcraft millionaire" "warcraft Riches" "Valkor's GOld making guide" "Team Idemise GOld guide",,,, they all tell u same thing really, that auction house makes loads of bucks,,, but there methods dont seem to work on Frostwhisper (EU)

Yea, most methods I found requires some work, sucks doesn't it? :D

You could always buy game gold? I hear there are kids in China peeling over and dying to farm gold for you at a low low price of 5 dolla
 
they make it sound so easy,,, a friend of mine had the same prob till he bought warcraftWEALTH apparently he has 100k gold now, o well good for him, but i dont have that and im not purchasing another guide, doesnt seem right to me -.-
 
Take up Mining and Herbalism.

Lvl it from 1 - 375

That alone if you sell all those mats will give you 5k gold and more. I'm lvl 63 on my shaman with the above professions and have 1k gold now and I have spent a shyt load of it. My Herbalism is now 346 and mining 315

Listen to this guy!

I hit lvl 70 on saturday and I had a few pennies short of 5k all from mining/skinning (essentially gathering profs). Unfortunately class training & flying mount pushed it back to 4kg - and thanks for not warning me that you CAN get shot down if flying over a horde camp :mad:

1) If you really want to make cash - buy and sell low level twink items, since most guys have twinks now - they're quite happy with forking out "big" bucks to pimp their toon. I bought a low level epic dagger for 90g, sold it for 250g moments later, that sort of thing.

2) Don't put all your items on the AH at once - see how the market plays and put them in 1 by 1. If you undercut everyone with 10 items, your undercut price becomes the norm - which is not good for you, since everyone will then undercut you.

3) Pick up everything. Even grays - it all adds up. Mail them off to your bank toon whenever you see a mailbox.

4) Help others. You scratch their backs, they scratch yours. Doing favours eliminates the spending of unnecessary gold.

5) Mining again :D Why? Simple. Mining mats are used for: Enchanting, jewelcrafting, leatherworking - and you guessed it ... blacksmithing.

From a nice vein you can get: the ore, cool green/blue/purple gems, motes of fire/earth/etc. The ore can also be prospected for even more cool green/blue/purple gems!

Even in lvl 10-20 areas I can run some laps and collect copper, making up to 60g per 2hrs...which is not difficult for a lvl30 player on a mount.

Daily Quests Net you 250 Gold Minimum! if u do all the outland ones (Excluding Netherwing)
and the Island ones.

And thats only on 1 toon, If you have more go wild.

* DPS Toons will fly through them! my hunter does them in under 35mins for Outland ones and 30mins on the Island.

Other than that, Disenchant all your greenies. Enchanting mats can net u more than the item sell value.

and while doing the daily quests, you will get Fire, Mana mote's wich add up really quick!

Doing this, i've raked up 16241 Gold.
Currently Raiding Sunwell, on M'uru (Phase 2 wipes) and iam spending about 250+ Gold a night on him. And we only raid 3 days a week.
 
FWIW I started a new character on a different realm a few weeks ago, a hunter now at lvl44 just with skills of skinning and leatherworker, has a mount and 85g from doing quests and selling drops on AH.

I did crusader enchant x2 at that lvl on the ZF drops (Mallet and Axe) That alone was 500/600g ;)
 
I looked at my cashflow mod, Fubar Money. I spend about 1k a week.

That isnt the repair bills :) I spend most of it on buying new enchants from leatherworkers, gems etc for new gear.

I dont farm herbs. My warrior is an enchanter. I only really make money on the AH selling Large Prismatic Shards, essences, arcane dust and netherweave cloth. I also make about 120gold a day from dailys. I make about 1.5k a week in total.

If my gold balance goes above 2k, i then spend it on my alts professions i have them on engineering, tailoring etc. :)

With this char, I did mining and skinning until lvl 63. I managed to buy my lvl40 mount and lvl60 mount without too much trouble. My secret : Dont buy stuff from the AH, sell stuff on the AH. I think it was wool that made loads of cash for me.

I have 3 lvl70, all with lvl 60 epic mounts(one is a warlock with the warlock mount) and flying mounts. I have a lvl65 hunter still on his lvl 40 mount, but i couldnt be bothered.

If i didnt raid, and spend money on my alts, i could buy an epic flying mount. But then again thats why I play: to raid and play the different classes.

My big hint: dont buy your gear from the AH. its almost(repair bills) free inside an instance :)

Just do dailies.

If people could gather 5k gold BEFORE all the free gold on the Isle of GOLDISFREE, then even retards shouldn't have a problem now.

And if you cannot save gold for an epic flapper, you really don't deserve it. Or you just don't want it enough. Hell, we have some guy in my guild who just passed the 80k gold mark and still has time to raid.
