WoW + Iburst + Lowerping.

Heya all Just downloaded and subscribed to Lowerping am using Iburst to play.

Latency's are way way down although I have seen a few DC's over the weekend but not sure if it's IB that dropped the connection or Lowerping.

Anybody know if there are optimal settings to use Lowerping to UK servers ????

its wireless you will always dc no matter what your ping is, if loose to much packets over the air , you will dc

Im on Iburst and lately its been terrible (thanks to seacom). Anyone know when this will be fixed apparently it will be done by midnight tonight?

Does lowerping actually work?

What MS do you get before and after using lowerping?

Before 680+ - 900ms
After 250+ maximum ive seen on Lowerping 400ms.

I do see that sometimes lowerping DC's but you can reconnect in a minute or two cool for PVE not so much while raiding but general farming and gameplay much better.

I have not tried it during a raid will update this thread once I have done so.

You don't have to subscribe you can just test it. The trial version DC's you every hour however. Lowers my ping from 750ms to under 400ms.

lowest i've seen in arena is like 218ms, changes the game completely. It definately works

Yeah, I also use LP and Iburst to play and get about 380-500 ms.

The reason for disconnects, for me, is when there is too much happening like in 25 mans. There is too much data trying to be transferred, not enough bandwidth to move it all and i DC.

I was looking forward to my first raid last night in about 6 months and for the first time, in about the same amount of time, Eishkom happened... Damn i was not happy at all so... I created a site called www.livid.co.za which is open to anyone and everyone for venting frustrations about anything and everything. Nothing gets deleted or moderated or removed, a complete FFA about eskom, taxis and all the other stuff that happens to make us want to vent..

Other than that, LP is awesome when we have electricity
