Hi im acually from the UK im looking for a internet cafe that has WoW in centurion if anyone knows of any please tell me. im like staying here for 2 months so while every one i know here is at work thought i might catch up on some time i would be missing as i have paid for it. anyways just give me some place and where they are would be nice.

Goodluck :)

In this country traffic is so crap expensive you would probably be better off renting a car and drive around exploring africa :D

Even if they would have wow it wouldnt really be playable, or afforable. As mos tof the affordable traffic hits international grounds throught a Satelite connection it kinda auto adds 800-1400ms. Im not saying its impossible, just saying that finding a netcafe that uses proper connectivity is gonna be very hard :)

Oh and Welcome to our Glorious Country, and dont forget to go to bed early as we need to save energy.

LOL!! Geez, now you left him with a very bad mind about this country :p

Sorry man, I have no idea of any WoW cafe's, but that sure is a really cool idea...

Your best bet is to do the following:

1. Bring a laptop (WoW runs on anything these days)
2. Get a 3G/HSDPA modem [can probably get one of the Vodafone ones over there]
3. Buy a prepaid simcard here in SA [MTN/Vodacom]
4. Load some cash on it [for 2 months ~ 2GB data = +- R600 ~ 40 pounds ? ]

I get 400-700ms ping on MTN 3G .It's not that expensive [should be dirt cheap if you're from the UK] .

With Internet Cafes , you're asking to get hacked, overcharged and having crap connection at the same time.

thats what im thinking of doing but means buying a laptop for me :( mind oyu i need one anyway

Having said this now and all is done. Would there be a market for a WoW internet cafe? a relatively cheap one that's affordable to everyone?

for me i wouldnt play wow in a internet cafe, first of all u got to think about all the addons you use at home on your personal PC, secondly your account might be comprimised at a net cafe.

If security and a way to manage these addons are in place would you consider it? Especially with team raiding etc

WoW in an internet cafe or lan party always make me think of the WoW Southpark episode :) You realy need to be speding a lot of time behind the screen, I would prefer to do it at the comfort of my own home though.

True, but lets say Eskom is load shedding, or Telkom decides to nip your ADSL line or you just ran out of your lovely unshaped pings and you and a group of mates NEED to raid that night. Won't you prefer a place with a nice ADSL line (or better) with power and some snacks? :D

It's called Friends.

If i really need to be on, nothing short of country wide powerloss will stop me.
