Wow Latency gone through the roof

just got dropped from a EU server (Vashj)

after 15mins i managed to get back in, now my latency has gone from +-300ms to 5000ms?

mate in the south of joburg disconnected at exactly the same time...

anyone else having the same probelm?

Same here. Seems everything went to hell at the same time, cept some peeps can back in, and others are still stuck on the loading/DC page. Friend of mine resorted to 3g even 0.o

all realms
i can get to my character list
then it loads and sits with the load bar full for ages
eventually "you were disconnected from the server"
then if i can get in quickly and i try load the same character
"character with that name already exists"
if it takes long to log in then the same as the initial problem
i think its an eu wide server thing tho not a bw related issue otherwise we'd not be able to log in at all

I can confim all the above symptoms.

tried multiple characters on Frostmane and Vashj.
tried using ADSL and 3G.
tried using Lowerping.

all give the same results.

i guess i'm having an early night!
 
Same problem too. Unable to get passed the loading screen!
 
i think i read some where that blizzard are having issues with telia again
 
Telia had problems, thus I couldn't log on to Sylvanas. I then logged on to Karazhan and had 0 problems.

Karazhan is hosted on another network in Europe which would explain why it didn't have problems like Sylvanas ect.
 
I had the same problem on Scarshield Legion - It came right around 10pm. My ping was sitting on +/-14,000ms.
 
I turned on the TV, watched 2 crappy adverts on E-TV and went to sleep.
i.e. I can confirm the same problems on Scarshield Legion EU.

Good to know it's fixed though.
 
We had the same on Lightbringer. Canceled the raid because our one tank had 10k lat and one of the healers couldn't stay logged in.
