WOW not worth it

I love playing WoW.
I love playing pool.
I love going bodysurfing.
I love going rock jumping.
I do my bit by going to gym.
I love hanging at a pub drinking sprite.
I love going to foam parties at raves.

There's a time and place for everything - I wont go out every week night, so when i'm not out on the town or in the water I have no shame in playing WoW.

It's not my ONLY activity, and as long as I enjoy it I'll keep on with it.
 
I think it's all about balance. As long as WoW (or any other game) doesn't negatively affect you health, career and relationships, I don't see how it's a problem. Having said that, WoW, and MMOs in general are a particularly addictive form of game, so care should be taken not to let things spiral out of control.

I myself have performance anxiety, Raid leading on vent is helping, largely cos when i lead raids, we slack and have a laugh when everytime the mage aoe's he dies :p

O_O Did you do Kara with me last night? Cause I died a hell of a lot everytime I did AOE :o
 
LIFE is what u make it to be :D Goin out and enjyin life is one of the most important things we must do to stay sane. I love playing wow and find it to be a enjoyable and relaxing pass time. PPl cant say we dnt have social lives as we do, speaking to ppl on vent and ingame is a form of socialising... Raiding is IMO the best form of socialising :D:D:D

There have been times where our mage survived the Aoe :( The raid would get depressed until i'd MD the lucky mage and get him pwnt :rolleyes:

Ya for me its more beating the hell out of horde in BG's :P havnt got a high lvl horde :(
 
I find it particularly interesting that saffakanera made one post in this entire thread...and it eventually turned into two pages of solid ranting and defending etc.

The Chill Factor - Trinket

Besides the mage i always kill apparently has 38k gp on his char :eek: His t6 cant save him from my MD xD

Hehehe, you say that, but I started playing WoW because sun and beer were wayyyyy cooler. All in all, cheaper and healthier to play WoW :p

It makes me think of a photo I saw in Time magazine of the Dictator Pinochet and his generals.

@Timgaul, I only Raid as DPS so I think I'm up to the task :P
