WOW Patch 4.2 thoughts

Ok, so while downloading the patch I read the release notes... What are your thoughts? Only change that I found annoying was the bunch of keys in my bag... But they serve no purpose so I sold them to a vendor....

Im still on my way to 85 so I have not been to the Firelands.

its awesome i have love the look of firelands, and i love boomkins getting buffed, now i can pull some decent numbers

only bad thing about every patch is damn addons that does not want to work :/

Trash mobs... loads of trash mobs !!!!!!

Strangely enough... the servers were pretty well behaved last night... usually after a big patch roll out the game is unplayable with bugs and dc's...

You mean the 4.2 Firelands and Druid patch?

Really dug the Thrall quest and I only got a lag spike in the last section. And a whole lot of people PvP flagged xD
The new dailies kinda reminds me of the Argent Tourney, only with a better "impact on the world" feel. As in it kinda feels like you're actually contributing to something. (Yes, I love phasing.)

I just now need to wrap my head around the changes to Druid healing. Was healing a 4 group when we did that achievement where you hunt down the mobs in Sethrias Roost. Lot's of fun, but it felt like I was running lower on mana more than usual...hmmm....could be due to the Thrall cloak I used (less 100 spirit) or the fact that we had no proper tank. Just me, a lock a mage and an oomkin...so I was healing everybody.

Found the quest hubs to be a gankfest - but it was fun, on either faction!

Firelands raid, 1.5 hours to kill the bosses, 3 hours to clear the trash

I must say the trash in Firelands is loads of fun, and it's nice to see that Avenger's rep ticking over

for some unknown reason this week I got exceptionally bored with the game, and Im going on leave this afternoon for a week. so I dont even think Im gonna bother logging in my main, and just level up my shammy (64 atm) and hopefully come back more interested after the weeks leave is over

Had the same issue, got really bored of just questing, so I tried my hand at PvP. Extremely fun although I really suck at that.

Had that being bored feeling a week or so ago. Started up Diablo 2 again, and played it for about a week Cured me right in time for 4.2 now I actually enjoy the new patch. New quests have been quite nice to do, and the market got a nice boost with all the cheap epics, so made a killing selling gems and enchants
Nearly 25k profit the last two days!

New hunter pets are quite nice, and the added changes in how to tame them makes it all worth while.

Really enjoying the new patch, the new fights are so far a lot of fun, the trash... not so much.

Daily quests are pretty cool, but with the amount of marks you need, I'm sure they will soon lose their appeal.

The change to crit for healers though is pretty epic! 117k GHW crit ftw!!
