hey all i have played wow since beta

and im gonna share my experience with u

please reply witgh a char.. what sort of gameplay u like ( survival / massive numbers / hybrid )

and ill make a custom spec just an example . i made a custom spec for a friend he went from 1.4k dps to 3.1k

only serious posts ill make u a custom spec and ill mail u the rotation

www.talentchic.com for popular specs - if it's popular it's there for a reason
I'll admit I modify to suit my own needs but if you need help with builds you should copy and practice really :)

This spec allows you maximum fire damage

Rotation = curse of elements... corruption ... immolate conflag incen x3 conflag immolate .. rinse repeat

while ure imp is the most important pet so you wil be more welcome in raids than the felgaurd version of the spec..

remember demonic empowerment when tis rdy and ure trinkets.
also use spellstone for more haste rating should help alot

shows u... typical nab... too into the game to actually try something original.. and rather look at someone elses work even though 99% of it is theory.. and just FYI elitejerkist tactics are measured by really good players thats been playing and mastering that class for a while.. so i dont know why most ppl go there... just cause he is that good... wont mean u that good .. will it..
 
Well i dont see what the big issue is. If people want speccing help, and he wants to give it what is the issue?

I must say that is an interesting lock build Volt4ge.
 
If trying a different spec and rotation helps...whats the harm?
I fought anouther ret pally in arena and got anihilated, looked up his spec in armoury and upped my dps with about 700-1k.

I play a ret pally, mostly tryin arenas atm. Link in my sig should still be good for my current spec.

Any advice welcomed Volt4ge! ;)

while handing it out... u might do a little less damage.. but survive ALOT longer.
:) not too good with the rotation

but run avenging wrath hand of freedom.. stun judge didvine storm and if ure lucky SOC should proc then just hammer of wrath him :)

cant think of another one.. dont have a ret pala myself.. but if u can redirect some damage from the raid to urself.. and keep ureself up in the raid.. ppl will love u and always inv u...

You make a fair point as what many people don't realise is that much of the theory-crafting in EJ is based on BiS gear - something many people don't have access to.

Personally I respect often and try out variations based on personal preferences. I use EJ as pve input and Arena Junkies for pvp guidance. Ultimately I customise based on what I need.

Thanx! Iv seen this spec before though its very popular in 3v3 and 5v5 as you survive alot longer like you said.
 
im a PVE mage get 7.6k dps on TOC hardmodes fb/ttw
its a kinda custome build but follows the normal rules, 20/51/0 i think thats the set :D
for pvp u use the normal frost with imp CS, just BG dont really arena but ye survivability is really good with frost but with arcane you jsut get so much more dps but mana is of the essence

from my understanding.. this specc should put out a decent 3.5k dps .. solid with MASSIVE mana regen for those long boss fights

Rotation.. = Scorch -> fireblast ->Frostfire -> Combustion -> frostfire


{ if proc insta pyro }
rinse repeat

BTW 3.5k dps is with naxx 10 gear
