Which programs do you guys use or reccomend? Considering recource usage and any negative effects on latencies.

Fraps is simple to use but halves your framerate as it records, a friend of mine uses gamecam to record vids from games and that has no impact on the way the game plays.

Fraps is awesome, make sure you have enough RAM etc though. It is true about the framerate, but in the days I used to use it it didnt fail at all. But I wouldnt risk it nowawadays with the raids as sucky as they are.

Never used Gamecam though.

Do you mean the trial? Last time I used a trial it could only record at 50% resolution and had www.fraps.com at the top of the recording. Nothing about a time limit.

yeah fraps work fine i have the 2.5.2 version cracked, torrents is your best bet :)

asus also include software with there cards that can do it.

Gonna try X-fire this afternoon. Read a good review about the video recording, nver even knew it had video recording:o

FRAPS Is good, You can always decress the FPS and resalution on FRAPS for a performance boost

I use fraps as well. Helps to have it creating the gigs of data on seperate hard disk as well.

I use Windows Movie Maker to then edit it and convert it so thats its down to a decent size.

The full version is cheap. Personally I wouldnt risk the getting the cracked version. No telling what other changes have been made to it :D
