ok so im up to lvl 15 with my lock, and im thinking I might have to change from affliction? It just doesnt seem much fun... what am I doing wrong here?

also not used to geting pwned by a harvest watcher!!!

It does seem a little slow to kill them, but stick it out and you will be very mana ifficient and won't die

Dont. Demonology is only any good when you have substantially more talent points than 5. lvl 60 in fact. Although you can get your felguard at lvl 50 at that stage, he pretty weak. Destruction is very gear dependant. You need like 25% spell crit.

Stick with affliction till lvl 60. I have found that mechanicals are really crappy for locks. Its one quest. Tough it out. If you questing instead of hanging around the AH, you will level to lvl 20 very quickly. You only have 5 talent points. From lvl 20 this class really takes off You need to get to the 3rd tier of talents before things start happening.

Dont waste money on buying gear from AH. I leveled my lock to lvl60 without doing any instances. Just do the quests. Loads of free quest guides on the web to help you maximise the quests you can do in a zone. Once I got to Outland I started running instances with the guild. All my gear came from quests, tailoring(just dropped it when I got some nice chest piece from Lady Vasj) and instances.

well for a warlock it used to be bind shadow bolt to every key and roll your face over your keyboard, for a frost mage in pvp its icelance :> for a warlock nowardays its incenerate. rogue = sinister strike and slice and dice they try and change it a but but heh basically 1 button spammers

kk coz right now I got all my talent points on destruction, shadow bolt crit hit or something like that.

I will reallocate my points tonight, gonna cost me 1 gold though!!

np The first few levels are tough dont get me wrong, in fact getting to 30 was rough going..but once you get siphon life you home free
