WTF is wrong with YouTube?

i been having the same, using Vodacom wireless business connect

Dear OP
I have had similar issues, it is highly infuriating, but I don't know which of the steps I did solved the issue, I think I logged off, changed passwords, re-logged in, etc... But it was irritating. During my attempts I noticed comments would work on some and not on all. The worst is it would not allow me to reply to comments on my own videos.

I am getting tired of YT and looking for an alternative.

Oh yes, been there, done that, didn't get a tshirt tho. :(

Sometimes it worx, sometimes it don't. But today is totally broken. Could it be the mighty Google? I don't think so and bet on Telkom.
Can hardly wait for fiber.

Ok, stop the press, all is cleared up now. Turns out I can comment on other machines, so it's my bitching Manjaro Linux falling apart ... again. Manjaro is always the bestest Linux distro on the panet ... for roundabout 3 weeks or so. And then it slowly starts disassembling itself.

Awww, man - I thought someone solved one of the modern world's heinous crimes against humanity...Youtube comments.

Sigh.

Really guys! As I understand the Internet ( and please if someone knows something different, post)

(1) Your ADSL service provider and even your ISP cannot do anything to the content of a site, except maybe messing up the DNS, in which case, access to a site or a service will be totally affected.
(2) So it is pointless pointing blame at Telkom when you have these hassles.
(3) IF such a problem exists it either at your end with your device, or configuration, or access, or OS, OR, at the service providers end.

If you have slow Internet the comments section on YouTube usually doesn't load. Happens on the app from what I've seen, but not on the Website :)

Here's a weird on, in chrome, YouTube doesn't work ( if it does, it's stuck on 144) yet, edge, Firefox and even iE , it's fine, tried all the suggestions from google, from disabling all addons, uninstall / reinstall, etc , no go

Just use vanilla Arch or something like Archbang and you'll be fine. I went from Arch to Manjaro for a few years and then back to Arch due to crap and now I'm happy again.
