WTF Mnet - MasterChef

Mnet advertises that Master Chef USA is starting Monday 16 Jan at 18:00. I switch the TV on and instead the wild is on, which the TV guide says should be on at 19:00 from today. So WTF is mnet doing?

That must be MNET terrestrial i.e. Monochoice being a pain in the ass. I think Masterchef would have only been on if you watched it through your DSTV decoder and not a stand alone MNET decoder/bundle.

I didn't watch, but according to mnet.dstv.com "Master Chef" was on MNet (and HD), but "The Wild" was on MNET Terrestrial @18:00

That sucks. mnet is compulsory in my building can't cancel it. It's R270 per month so getting DSTV would be on top of that.

Compulsory to pay 270 for mnet? HTF did they talk you into that BS? I have never heard of a building that forces you to pay for mnet. Sounds like a bunch of absolute BS to me.

Tell them to F right off, you could get dstv for that money.

Its been with the building for 20 years as part of the levies. Had to have a majority vote to cancel it. Its being canceled in March. Don't have a decoder for it either. Last month it was still R240.
