Wait, I now remember installing (quite a while ago) an add-on in Firefox that removes social media (such as links, etc.) from webpages before its displayed - maybe thats why I don't get the pop-up. I can still access facebook etc., but its not forced onto me everywhere. I'll check what the name is of this add-on when I get home.

Chrome. I have Adblock installed. It's not an ad.

Truly idiotic! And what is even more irritating is that the chat is not sport specific so if someone else is watching football, and another tennis, and another golf, all their comments appear in the same stream! When someone says "wow! did you see that", it is a bit disconcerting when nothing happened that you saw.

Don't know about this specific instance but I feel Supersport has a terrible, terrible embedded media player. I've got a really decent internet connection, never have hassles with youtube vids, online gaming and all that. But the number of times I get told "Insufficient bandwidth" or it buffers for eternity is insane. And now I see this facebook thing... It's incredibly irritating.

I'll look into this ad-blocker thing but will def send a mail to complain as well.
