(US PvP Servers)

Each server with characters has about 4k gold each.
I quit 6 months ago and went inactive last month.
I want someone else to enjoy my account in Wrath, so I do not want a ridiculous amount of money and I also do not want to split any of it up because, honestly, I am lazy.

Nice collection of toons on both sides but i dont think youll have luck selling it here cause most SA guys complain about US latency alot.
 
Playing on US myself again, I actually went now from EU BACK to US, heh. I have deduced that difference is only about 80ms on average.
Hardly noticeable for most PVE stuff. I get about 420ms now were i was getting 380 on EU.
The different is unnoticeable to me.

I've come to the conclusion that the whole US to EU exodus was mostly unnecessary and a case of 'o noes Johnny's going I have to go too!'.
The only real perks are for those who like pugging (urgh) and want to draw on player resources outside of their own guild, or want to raid with a EU guild due to same timezones.
Imo if you're in a good, large SA guild on a US server there is literally no good reason to make the move. Plus it has it's own benefits. No queue times, ever, even on uber high pop realms, and yanks are simply, in my experience, much nicer people who are easier to get on with, there's no language divide or racist **** going on etc etc.

Yanks are the nr 1 reason not to play in the US :p
Nr2 reason server maintenance day....
Nr3 if your not in a big SA guild, you will need to raid in the early mornings...
 
If you play on a US server with our time difference, you might as well play on a Local server. It's just as quiet and you can raid in your guild :D
 
Depends. Whisperwind and Stormrage have big SA guilds with lots of people in. Granted pugs don't happen much and you have to mostly rely on getting guildies together if you want to run some instance. But having been on EU for just over a year...honestly? Overrated. Getting in a good (and by good i do not necessarily mean uber raiding) guild matters more.
 
Well i know of a whole SA that came to TH they were all raiding end game cause of lag.

Think name was FOA or something.

I found that the immaturity on the EU servers was worse than on the US servers but that was prolly due to the time difference.

Yes depends on what time of day you play ;) I like to play at night from 19:00 till late. This seems to be the time schools come out in the US and the servers are flooded with kids...
Atleast that was the case with games like AO, Dransik and Tibia.

Actually QFT. Eurofags are worse. Way, way worse. Imo.
Half the time you can't understand them. The other half the time they're a bunch of racist scumbags.
 
I was in a great west coast guild back then. I just didn't raid much due to the times (this was all pre-tbc btw). Not a lot of gankers and griefers on when I was on.

I take it you play WAR on US servers as well then...
As for the racists comments a fast look at the US vs EU forums will tell you the opposite of what you just said...
That all being said the Swedish and Spanish people have always had a very bad reputation in online gaming maybe you just ended up in the wrong crowd/ server.
 
Srsly. I have never, not once, on my US server, been asked "Are you (nationality/race/creed/x)?" and then put on ignore when I responded No. On TH it's happened to me twice. Everyone hates the greeks and the greeks hate everyone who isn't greek.
So yeah. Im being foreals. The yanks might kid around, but the bigotry is real, rife and in your face on many EU realms.

Actually wich i did get US version cause GOA manages EU version and they suck patches are week late.
I dont have problem with EU people as long as they speak english.
Probably cause i lived in UK for 2 years met alot of EU people with bad english like Polish ,Ladweens and Rusiaans amazing some of these people become my friends we braaied tother got drunk togther.Polish chicks are hot. :)
One dude smoked too much hash called him hashman.

Why would someone put you on ignore, unless you have been part of the problem... An ignore list cant be infinitely long...
In fact your comments of Greeks hating everyone who isn't Greek is quite racist in itself. Next time try and speak in a language other than English in wow general chat, just to see the reaction ;)

Btw I dont have an issue with the US population in general there are just some factions within the US population that thinks that the US is the alpha and the omega. Arrogance irritates me far more than kiddies playing games.

Americans make my work harder cause they still use inches not the metric system like we do most of the stuff i draw if it goes to America i have to convert the system to inches piss me off.

And if you ask them why are they diffrent from the rest of the world they tell you cause we are the world everyone should do as we do.

Who really cares what language people speak? When I am teamed together with other Afrikaans speaking people, I like to switch language. We even have a Dutch channel on the server I am on, and I really like to listen to and read the Dutch conversations. A lot of my friends are from the Scandinavian countries and to be honest their use of English is far better than what you can read on this forum ;)
