Ok that cool. I think i can do that. Does a new user on ptawug need to register before he can be added to the access list of ptawug or can anyone connect? The reason why im asking is becos i want to know how to setup my wug.
If i make my wug unsecure then i might end up with a data theft problem. At the moment i have the hotspot feature setup on my mikrotik which tell the user to coneact me if he/she would like to join.
PS: How did ptawug get passed icasa and what must i do? Do i need to fill out that exempt form?

gaan lees die icasa wette en regulasies - as jy non-profit is, onder 100mW bly en 2.4 en 5.8ghz gebruik dan is jy excempt, en hoef jy niks in te vul of te doen nie.
PTAWUG is oop vir enige iemand om te connect - dis die hele punt van die netwerk, dis 'n oop, free, non-profit community netwerk. Om 'n IP te kry om die netwerk te gebruik moet jy wel op IRC kom en een aanvra. Verder is daar geen security of WEP of so nie - elke users is verantwoordelik vir sy eie home netwerk se security (net soos op die internet)
