Hello good people of mybroadband,

Has anybody heard/tried/using them?
Just wanted to find out weather they are worth it...!

Considering that half their website is broken I would avoid it.
 
I ordered one on the 20'th of December and the delivered my sim to me on the 2nd of January. (personally i don't think it was bad if you take into account all the holidays) I can surf any website (facebook, bidorbuy, all of them) My Xbox connects and i can play online. However i can not access youtube and some of the other streaming sites. Is it worth it? I think so. everything on my phone works, the google play works.

It works with a MTN sim and you cant make calls from the sim. (That sucks a bit) but used Afrihost previously so i am use to that.

BTW I got an email this morning saying they will be upgrading there server for even faster hosting and and a upgrade to there client portal.
 
Apologies, just read this:

User is able to browse any website, besides malicious sites. Users can access all social media sites, upload pictures, viewing of videos. Users can download all emails attachments without limits.

Porn websites and malicious sites are blocked by the network. If a customer finds a site that’s blocked and it is not a malicious, porn or streaming site we will unblock it. User can send us an email to [email protected], we will check the site and have it unblocked.
Users are not able to download movies, music, malicious content but other download permitted.
