XBOX 360:
+Best for Shooters
+most people online
+cheaper
+most violent games
+frequent game releases
+Halo
-Frequently defective
-Pay to use online
-Poor backwards compatability
-Poor customer service
I assume you're comparing that to a PS3? Or the Wii? Without starting a Console vs PC war again, but you probably need to add PC too if you're gonna throw around "features" like that.
i.e. add to your xbox list:
-games are expensive
-not great for strategy/complex type of games
-certainly not best for shooters, mouse and keyboard still the best last i checked
-downloadable content and even updates comes at a cost not always present in PC games (this is a pro and a con i guess).
As for backwards compatibility on Xbox 360, who really cares ? Most people who want backwards compatibility wants PS2 compatibility, i don't think the old Xbox was that big.
And what makes Xbox games more violent than PS3 games? Compared to the Wii that is fair, but surely PS3 got equally violent games?

-Pay to use online - Less than monthly subs for MMO's, plus it covers ALL games. So this should be a plus.
Well technically it's not a plus. Online Play is free on both PC and PS3 . Take something simple like Modern Warfare 2, you don't pay a dime to play it online on a PC, yet indirectly you do pay for it on the Xbox 360. I'm not talking MMO here, if the Xbox had MMOs, i can bet you now you will pay DOUBLE. You would pay the sub [$15] and STILL pay your Xbox Gold Sub ALSO.
Of course if Blizzard were to put WoW on the Xbox and said it's free/included for all Gold Members, then hell yea, it would be a massive plus.
