X3: Reunion

Yeah. There is a lot missing in the game and things that simply don't work. Nonetheless I've been playing it to the exclusion of everything else since I got it.

There were a number of screwed up things with X2 when that came out, but the patches did fix it up eventually and new content got added.

I've got the impression that Egosoft are commited to getting the game "finished" and in the meantime there is sufficient content to keep me busy.
 
ok i was tryin to play this game, hard with out tuts.

I sold my buster are the beggining to do some trading.... now that i got some cash and a new buster how the hell do u put guns back on it and where can i get them from?
 
You can buy guns and equipment from Equipment docks found in the main sectors of each race, Argon Prime, Kingdoms End, Paranid prime, Siezewell etc. The different races stock different types of equipment so you'll have to do some browsing. My advice is to fit your buster with a couple of beta particle accelerator cannons.

A good way to make some money quick is to take a mercury transport down to ore belt and buy some silicone wafers for somewhere around the 250 mark, then head north through the argon sectors looking for high tech factories like weapons facts and advanced satalite factories etc and sell the wafers for above 600 credits, you'll make a lot of money, trust me :D]

Got plenty of money (Managed to figure out how to make my 5 traders auto trade in a sector, then left the game running for a few days on its own). Just need to know where to go to get the guns... All the equipment stations that i dock at have those guns listed but don't have any stock... which is annoying...

Basically its a space simulator.... Like freelancer but much bigger.... very much bigger...

But the learn time is huge because it has no tutorials of any type.

U can be a pirate, a trader, police... U can build factorys that make stuff to sell into the game... Make complexs ie multiple factorys joined together... U can follow the story line... or u can just do what ever.


But the learn time almost killed it for me... Almost....

Still want to know how to buy guns (more where to buy them fom and how to mount them)

I can also see that it could be time consuming....

Try the demo first.
 
This is maybe not the best place to ask. But im trying to find somewhere where I can buy dvds of the xmen series. You know the one I mean, it use to be on KTV a few years ago. Im sure it must be possible to buy somewhere online or otherwise?

I use to love watching that series
 
The 1.3 patch fixed the framelags, but this game can get annoying. ie, some missions you have to meet someone on the otherside of the galaxy but I dont know how check what the name is or where to go or what my mission is. So I end up getting lost. Really sucks..
 
Pity about all the extra enemy activity the patch added. I seem to spend all my time chasing pirates now.

I've actually given up playing and am waiting to see if they provide a way to tone down the enemies somewhat in a future patch.
