So I have a 42" tv in the living room with a HTPC running XBMC, and I want to extend the experience into the bedroom, currently I have an old 74cm CRT TV in there, amd don't really want to replace the TV, I have tried everywhere to get one of those GFX cards with the AV out connector, but it seems they are obselete, so now I'm on the verge to buy a mede8er or a WDTV hub, but before I take the plunge, I just wanted to find some alternatives, I have seen a few people on the XBMC forums talking about set top boxes running android, which can then take XBMC, but I have never seen them, can anyone give me some suggestions?

Thanks

If you're not looking to run Full HD content, a Raspberri Pi will do the job.
Edit: I have the WD TV Live (all my media is network accessible) - it does the job, and it does it well. The only thing I find lacking is speed of navigation.

I was looking at the raspberry, but the last I heard there was a 6month waiting period.

I was under the impression that the Raspberry Pi's could handle 1080p? Am I wrong in this regard? Or would it need to be over clocked?

It is 1080p - but it cannot decode 1080p. Overclocking might just be enough. Basically I loaded XBMC onto it and it could not run 1080p movies - it would lose half the frames.
