XBMC Supersport Addon

Are you willing to share via PM? I have absolutely no dev skill at all, so will not mod or share it. I have a connect ID already.

This really would help a lot of us out. Give it some thought, and if you decide against it we'll understand.
I fully agree, and would also be forever grateful. LOL And I have NO experience in modding anything except my bike haha

I'd just like to know what tools are being used. The live streams are using Flash DRM, so there is either some Python library being used on the backend or our friend knows somebody who knows somebody at Multichoice :D

Lol I really dont care what he uses or who he knows, I woulr just like to be able to view SS on Kodi, i am teying to get all of our channels to run through kodi... Still searching for TLC, E Entertainment and a few more though.... :(

Also not too phased about the how, would just like it to work. I'm looking for something that's easy for the parents and if i can get SS into Kodi that'll make my life a hell of a lot easier.

I know I am teasing, but unfortunately this can never be released. Previously people ripped out the login auth code, and redistributed it without that, and multichoice just killed it. So because of that, its now a private addon. Its actually a complete rewrite, works much faster and better, and the streams look great and has almost no issues, less than those on the website.

The only problem is, the authentication is static, and I doubt it can be reworked without multichoice's assistance in the matter, so that it can't be bypassed.

Now why you go and tease me like that, you biaatch you :p

I am sorry can't share via PM.

What I personally hope for, is in the future when Kodi supports binary plugins, that multichoice themselves will release an official plugin. Basically I believe that is the best we can all hope for.

@DrJohnZoidberg - I don't know anyone at multichoice. I got hold of a copy of a plex plugin, which I used find out where to get my streams from. Once I had an easy way to get them, it was easy to write a new Kodi plugin. This time the Kodi plugin is actually less code than the previous one in this thread. Literally I would say less than 200 lines of code is needed, if that many at all.

Just use an android TV stick with DSTV now installed. Works great.

don't share it. just enjoy it. people at multichoice must be having meetings about those screenshots today.

Intrigued. 100% working ?

Yes

The dual-core sticks are quite snappy, 40 sec to boot to Android desktop.
You also get ones with female HDMI ports, so you can connect a HDMI cable to it and it doesn't plug directly into the HDMI port if you want to move it around for better wifi signal or plug a USB Hub into it, so it doesn't hang from the HDMI port of the TV.

Every device has it's own serial number unlike the AMLogic ones.
Don't know it that has been fixed yet.

Just make sure you buy one with KitKat firmware.
With Mediatek or Realtek wifi.
Look on freaktab forum for names with custom roms and KitKat firmware.
All these sticks also have different wifi, so different device firmware is cross-compatible but wifi won't work.
But you can build your own firmware if needed and you get the correct wifi pin numbers.
