XBMC Supersport Addon

Do you have some links by any chance?

This one has KitKat firmware

Just inquire what wifi chipset it has, since the same device use different wifi chipsets for different batches.

iMito MX1/MX2, UG007II, MK809II, J21 and MK808B with MTK chipset have Kitkat firmware.

Can look here for custom roms and support. Look for a device with lots of support and no problems.
http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support/rk3066-devices

The RK3066 was the 1st generation CPU for TV Sticks. Can be a little slow with 1080p, comes default with 720p kernels.
The RK3188 is the 2nd generation and use quad-core CPU's. A Lot faster but avoid ones with RK3188T(1.4Ghz instead of 1.8) CPU unless there is a custom ROM for it.
The RK3288 is the 3rd generation CPU for TV Boxes/Sticks and is super fast and does 4K. So far the best CPU for Android TV Boxes on the market. Also the GPU is a killer and can run all the latest games. Also runs Lubuntu/Xubuntu/Slackware Linux but hardware video decoding is still being worked on.

I have the first ever Allwinner(different company than Rockchip that makes sticks above. Avoid Allwinner since their devices are slow) A10 Android TV Stick that was released. Compared to today's standards it is slow but to ran Android on your TV back then was great and a new experience.
Then got a MK808B RK3066 TV Stick, then RK3188 TV Box, now use RK3288 TV Boxes.

Well Tinuva is right...once it is in the open I guess it won't be long before Monochoice add DRM again (at the moment there is no drm and once you have the links you can play it with an existing xbmc addon by simply creating a simple xml file with all the urls). Also, quality is MUCH better than before, it is true 720p.

Oh ok... So what you are basically saying to us in plain English is "wait longer, its coming!" lol?

Well actually I thought it was quite cheeky of Tinuva to post screenshots and then tell everyone he cant share it. I've been using it for a long time but rather kept my mouth shut in this thread, only sharing it with close friends I know I can trust....

DUDE! Im the ULTIMATE FRIEND! I mean damm! I mean hell ask anyone here! Lol ok DONT ask anyone... No-one knows me haha... But damm that would sure be awesome! Send me your bank details! Hahaha hell who am I kidding... If I had money I would have Full DSTV bwahahahah! Do u wana discuss this over a beer perhaps? On my "tab" ;) hehe...

All i'm saying is... If you ever feel like giving back to the poor..... Then I would volunteer to be your first test subject... I wont share or talk... I would just watch that MotoGP baby :)

Yea, there's also the fact that some of us would literally have no one to share this with.

None of my friends/family even know what XBMC/Kodi are. Not to mention they all have full DSTV, I'm the only one that streams sport.

I'm a student so I can't really offer you a large amount of cash, but if you can be bribed by a small amount let me know.

Those of us asking won't meet your "close friend you can trust" requirement, but maybe our time on this forum/post count will ease your worries.

More or less cheeky than the person that mentioned he has a working Plex addon and didn't share anything?

Ok well I guess I owe everyone an apology as Im the one that awoke the thread after being dormant for a year lol

This is actually quite easy to do. Have a look at the f4mproxy plugin. You'll need to grab the manifest files for each of the channels. Google is your friend.

Well like I said earlier it can be done with a current xbmc addon, actually you gonna need f4mtester in conjunction with f4mproxy. Most people though wont know how to harvest the manifest urls and these urls are the ones that will probably spoil it for everyone once it spreads on the net.

Oh well it seems I will just have to wait till the spoils drop... Coz I wont be able to decipger this Anigma.... Lol

vipleague.ws shows all major sporting events. Is there no way of looking to see how and where they get their feeds from?

Sorry, I am not a programmer at all, just a thought.

Apps like this already exists for XBMC, but the quality isn't good which is why we want the supersport feeds.

I've installed Kodi on a windows 8 machine since the Supersport addon didn't work anymore. So have to launch browser now to access Supersport streams.

Tried an Android emulator on my HP microserver as I think an Android setup can look nice with a HTPC, but the supersport app's video doesn't work on the emulator (tried 2). Something to do with hardware acceleration I believe (or I don't know). So thinking about getting a seperate Android device and checking that out. Can then just install Kodi and Supersport app on that then.

How is this quality compared to the normal sportsdevil feeds?

Sportsdevil is horrible, apparently Supersport can go up to 720. If you've installed the phoenix streams, you can watch sky sports in flipping good quality but not always useful because they don't show all the Super Rugby games.

Can a tool like URLSnooper or similar be used to sniff the url behind the stream?
