I am not sure why DStv is so hell-bent in securing their broadcast streams. Aside from greed, it seems they are worried that their Customers realise they are being shafted royally.
 
Frankly I think Multichoice should embrace this. Bring out a Kodi and a plex add-on. I mean they have them for Android and Apple? Build in some solid authentication and Bob's your uncle. What's the big deal? What's the hold up?

this is the thing. I don't want it free. I will put in details. just release the damn plugins already. idiots. not leka to watch sport on a tablet when it would be so easy to bring the functionality into xbmc. just swak.

same boat as you. hate watching the rugga on my laptop when I have a working big screen tv running openelec in the next room....
