So, I sold my Xbox 360 got a HD4850 which Im very pleased with, it was basicly becuase I was sick of using those two little nipples on the xbox controller for aim.

The thing is though that those little nipples are excellent for playing my favourite game of all:

::::PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER::::

Sorry about that. :erm:

Well I just downloaded the demo and had a dissapointing experiance with using the keyboard and only slightly better using the Wiimote with glovepie. So I was thinking I'll get a wired Xbox 360 controller to use with the PC.

My question is, do these newer games have some sort of emulation or understanding for the sensitvty of the 360 controller, can I hope to acheive a similiar gameplay experiance?

I am using the xbox 360 wired controller for windows. Works fine with pes 2010, not sure if the sensitivity is the same as the console version since I am a pc gamer.

Thanx alot, u know us PC gamers dont worry much with these Xbox nonsense, only when we need spare parts of course.

I used to use my XBOX controller on the PC. Logitech Cordless Rumple PAd 2 has the sensivity your are looking for, and the Rumple pad is cheaper.

I have the wired rumble pad as well as the xbox 360. The xbox 360 feels better for the game imho.

I have the Logitech Chillstream for PC... great controller.. not as nice as the Xbox one but not bad!

The Xbox 360 one is a bit overpriced for what you get, imo, but of course a lot of people own one for their console already.

settings

I've been using my wired controller for a long time now the latest drivers for it that you can get from Microsoft allow you to set sensitivity and in some games as well you are able to change allot of settings to do with how the controller behaves. Love using it especially for racing games.

if i can offer you a word of advice when it comes to this.

you could probably get the wireless PC adapter + a wireless X-Box controller for your PC on e-bay for cheaper or just a bit more than a singel wireless controller in the stores over here.

a few months ago when the rand/dollar exchange wasn't as good as it is now i paid just under R600 for the wireless adapter + a wireless controller.

if you want two controllers then order the extra controller online for which you will probs pay about an extra 340 bucks for.

just to give you an idea, for the wireless adapter + controller i paid about R590 and the extra controller was about R360, i paid about R1000 for all of the above + insurance + fees.

I am so sick and tired of all the local shops telling me there is a shortage, I decided to order from the UK via TAKE2. Lets see what happens.

I mean really! If I cancelled my order at any stage, there would be at least 3 people here that would buy it from Zaps...sorry I just don't get it.

Strange - apart from imported items we do not normally ask for payment for items until we have confirmed that stock is available - Satan could you please pm me you order number and email addy and I will look into why you were asked to pay up front.

What is the cheapest price for an X box controller? Last time I check.. at BT it was R350 for wireless... ( I think.. )

About right. I have the wireless one and it works great.

As a matter of interest...Almost all games ofr Windows that is ports from the Xbox 360 or published under Microsoft games for Windows support the Xbox 360 controller with all of the extras like sensativity and vibration and so on. Well this is my experience from playing Darksiders (what a game).
