Xbox 360 dashboard update

I thought the update would be arriving November 1? Anyone know if it's still happening today or when?
 
benitok look at my gaming and other posts there are plenty around the net of whats going to be in it

as for release timing all i know is that MS usally release it midday (according to the past 2 years fall update times) so we looking at a little later today, you will get it today tho...:) going to be interesting too see :)

and back to benitok stuff like espn will be added, better avatar's and an inproved xbox live voice codexc, streamlined typing and easier to connect to a wireless network
 
So my update gets to about 60% and fails every time. Anyone having this problem?
 
Update complete, and the new look sucks :( Although I do like the XBOX 260 start sequence :)
 
I did the USB update and Microsoft just bricked my XBOX, I get an E71 error, and one red flash in the front.

False alarm, I had to remove my flash drive at some point, it would help if they tell you, please remove flash and continue. :-)
 
I like the new look, it's more sleek and defined. The older look was like Vista :p
 
I havent updated my dashboard for over a year and some change, can i install this or should i install the missing ones?
 
No problem, you might want to install it from a flash drive. I gave up trying today - wasted so much bandwidth restarting over and over :(
 
Mightymuffinman people have yes, and there hasn't been any problems, just stay away from fable 3 don't play it with the new dash....its got a new thing called ap25 checks so stay clear
