XBOX 360 Questions

Don't talk out your @ss Tibby. I got myself a cheap Linksys AP and it connects to my wireless router perfectly. You just bridge the connection and plug a LAN cable into the AP from the Xbox....

Well congrats genuis ... you have just discovered what a wireless ethernet bridge is ... I did already mention that would also work in case you missed it.

lol confusion all around.

You told Bwana that you couldn't use a wireless AP then went on to say you can in a different way and then I told you that you where talking **** because you can.

What a communication breakdown...

Final answer... You can either buy the official wireless adaptor or create your own bridge using an AP of your choice..

Everyone happy now?

PS: It's cheating editing your insults out of the post dude :D

1. I heard that it can connect a mouse and keyboard, is this a fallacy?

www.xfps360pro.com

2. How does Xbox live work?

Two options. Silver and Gold. Gold lets you play Multiplayer games (costs R68 per month and you need a credit card) Silver is free and you can join Xbox live with silver but you can only download movies, demos, XBLA games etc. Go for gold.

3. If I had 2 Xbox Consoles, could I connect them and multiplay?

All it takes is one network cable, the xbox's do the rest of the work,

4. Can I play multiplayer games on 2 TV's with 1 Xbox?

Nope.

5. Can I multiplay with PC gamers if I own the same game?

So far Halo 2 and Shadowrun are the only games that can do this so far. Lots more are to come.

6.Does the Xbox link up to you DSL modem with a normal LAN cable?

Mine does.

7.Does the Xbox have a wireless LAN option?

Costs R900 from Take2.co.za. Not worth it. Rather stick a cable from your router to your SeXbox.

Is it noobs bumping old threads season on SA forums or something?

Only Shadowrun for the record. Halo 2 is a simple port of the game for Vista and you can ONLY play against fellow Vista players.

Huxley is another game thought to incorporate cross-platform gameplay, sometime in 2008 though.

Cheapest option for me, i bought a wireless Network card for R250 for my pc and just plug the 360 straight into router.

screw Halo 2 regardless. Horrible story. I'm sure GOW will have cross platform access. And I tried out the Mouse/Keyboard adapter for the Xbox. It sucks. The mouse maps the the X and Y co-ord's of the right stick and manages to make the whole process seem slow and syrupy. the Keyboard is super cool but the mouse... uuuurgh.

Awww come on.... GoW was made for PC/Xbox feuding. Made for it i tell you.
