OK, it only took 3 months for my Xbox 360 to pack up. At least I can still play, but I can't connect to live which seriously depresses me. :(

I bought it second hand and it seems the network port has packed up. It is not within the warranty anymore. Anyone know of someone in Jhb area that fixes Xbox's without charging an arm and a leg?

Quick question:

I read about all these Xbox packing up. Are they all the older models? Or is your the HDMI model?

Ok, never read your post correctly. I assume if it is out of warrenty, it is the old model.

Have the exact same problem, mine is out of the original 1 year warranty period, but I believe I can get a new one with MI digital, otherwise you can get a wireless network adapter to sort that problem out.
