Well, its like the article said, the 360's been out bit longer and until around the beginning of this year the selection on the PS3 was pretty bad. I had mine since last year November and there where only a few good games (mostly exclusives like Uncharted and Heavenly Sword). But to get back to the point, think the PS3 is more like 2 years behind in real game sales because of the bad lineup at the start (did the 360 have a weak start also?).

Anycase, who cares except the fanboy using these things for they "war". Sure, MS can now use this to market the 360 which is good for them, but what does it mean to you the console owner? Games will still be released for both consoles and both will get more and more of the same games as the devs are now getting used to working with the PS3 and there is a big enough install base to make money out of. Its not like PS3 owners will see less games from devs because of these stats.

You know what I'd like to see? A list of games from both M$ and $ony, one year into their respective releases. Then you can compare the two.

No, but as a developer you're not going to ignore it knowing that's where the biggest market is. PS3 3rd party exclusives = bye bye.
