It falls under the same thing as jailbreaking a iphone.....so if not all jailbreak threads must go too

Actually not. You might own the 360 buy you are not allowed to reverse engineer or mod it (applicable to a few countries - I'm not actually sure about the law in SA. I think its legal to mod it but illegal to play copies of games you don't own)

I agree :) That I'm allowed to reverse engineer and mod it for personal use but I'm not allowed to play copied games.

BTW what does PS3 jailbroken mean? it can play backups?

lol, yes. It's ironic that nobody cares about piracy on the iPhone, but when someone mentions it for a console, everyone gets upset. Go browse through the iPhone threads, they talk openly about downloading cracked apps and games. Just try that here...

MightymuFfin man do some research man...its like said in a few threads below this one, yes its for homebrew, if u choose to make backups its up to u, but it can allow making backups

Some people say that every 1 with ixtreme firmware WILL get banned during the ban wave. But I disagree.

Think for a second. Why would microsoft allow you to play coppied games for 1 year and only ban you in a banwave? So they allow you 1 year of full unlimited copied gaming online. It doesn't make sense. If someone is pirating my stuff like that I won't wait 1 year before banning them in a banwave.

People say you WILL get banned but I think its safe for now. You get banned if you play non stealth games.

What would be the whole point of ixtreme lt if it would be a guaranteed ban online?

Just discussing my point of view. No need to get agro. You may quote me and point me in the right direction if you think I'm talking ****. :-)
