Xbox Live: Changing from Gold back to Silver?

So how do you do it?

As far as I can see there is no option available on the website or via the console. Is it just microsoft being . . well typically microsoft?

You're going to have to call Xbox Support and tell them that you want to change to Silver.

Creditcard . . . and even when that expires they still manage to charge you.

contact microsoft support and tell them not to automatically renew your subscription

Had to call them in UK - toll free number even on skype so at least that didnt cost me anything.

Bit of a racket though if you ask me - next time vouchers.
