Xbox Live - Help

Ok, so I just got a new Xbox and need to know if it's possible to connect to LIVE in South Africa and buy points to purchase content from LIVE?

I want to get the expansion for GTA 4, but when I try purchase or download via the web using my pc - I get the "not supported in your region" error.

So what's the procedure and is it possible?

Well, yes technically. Your Live ID need to be UK and then you go over here to buy points and gold sub for the UK.

They simply email you the "voucher" codes to enter, basically the same way you'd buy a WoW sub online

There's a few places you can buy the exact same stuff from, but that's the shop i've noticed people recommend on the SA xbox forums here : http://www.xbox-360.co.za/forum/ . You'll get more specific info there if need be.

Anyway when i initially signed up for the free month gold sub , i chose my region as UK . So at this stage my sub expired so i'm back to silver, but i can still log in and get to the free content / updates as usual no problem.

You mentioned in your previous thread that you mod your Xboxes to play copied ****.

You won't be able to connect to LIVE.
